Conquest Racing Atlantic Team Ready for Inaugural Mont Tremblant Race

Fresh off of their top five performances, Ricci and Lee are ready to keep the momentum going

Indianapolis, IN, June 27, 2007 – The Conquest Racing Atlantic Team of Matt Lee (#44 Integrated Solutions / Mazda - Cosworth) and Giacomo Ricci (#18 Banca Italease / Lotto / Global / Mazda-Cosworth) are excited to test their skills at the 2.65-mile natural road course of Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. This stop in the 2007 Champ Car Atlantic Championship marks the first time that any of the Atlantic team drivers will be competing at this particular track.“I’m really looking forward to getting on the next road course this season,” said Ricci. “I was happy with my performance in Cleveland and now I’m ready to improve upon that result and get on the podium this time. This is a difficult course but I am confident in the car and the Conquest Racing team and I’m sure we’ll have a great race.”

“This course will definitely be a learning experience for us,” said Lee. “It is a unique course with a lot of fast corners and hills and despite the fact that I have never had the opportunity to race there, I’m ready to attack the course. I was very impressed with how the team did last weekend and hoping to get them a great finish this time out.”

“With the top five performances we had in Cleveland and Ricci’s fourth place best finish of the season, we are excited to get on track in Mont Tremblant,” said Steve Ragan, Conquest Racing Atlantic team manager. “The 15 corners of this natural road course each have their own difficulties but we’ve seen Ricci and Lee improve greatly over the first six races and expect that they will have strong results. I think the team is ready for this challenge.”

The Champ Car Mont-Tremblant in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada kicks off on Friday, June 29th with provisional qualifying. The green flag drops on the seventh round of the 2007 Champ Car Atlantic Championship on Sunday, July 1st at 11:30 a.m. EST. The race will be broadcast on ESPN2 on Friday, June 6th beginning at 6:00 p.m. EST.
